Allen Lowder identi.ca profileidenti.ca is a micro-blogging service. It is based on an open-source social networking platform built on the OpenMicroBlogging specification.
It is similar to Twitter in many respects, but offers some additional features.
Some of the additional functionality you will find when using identi.ca are XMPP support, tag clouds and it also supports the FOAF standard which allows you to feed notices from identi.ca into a Twitter account or other services.
identi.ca offers this as a free service.
